DESIGN / BEX HOME

The whole space
matters.

A good design brings together how a space looks and how you use it every day. We think about furniture, surfaces, colours and proportions as one whole.

You can also come to us with a standalone design brief — whether you need help with a single piece of furniture or want to rethink an entire room.

HOW WE CAN HELP

The whole concept can
start with one piece.

01 / SPACE CONCEPT

A place for everything.

We consider function, layout and circulation. We look at how the space can be used more effectively and where proportions or furniture placement could be improved.

02 / FURNITURE DESIGN

Designed around you.

Kitchen, wardrobe or entrance hall: we tailor the internal layout and appearance of the furniture to the space, your storage needs and your everyday habits.

03 / SURFACES AND ATMOSPHERE

Details that belong together.

We consider cabinet fronts, worktops, decorative glass and colours together. We also take lighting into account when shaping the desired overall effect.

VISUALISATION

See it together
before you decide.

It is easy to fall in love with a material, a colour or a pattern on its own. Visualisation helps you judge how they work together.

We show the planned proportions and how the materials relate to one another. Agreed variations can be compared, so your decision can be based on a clear concept.

A bold glass splashback, for example, can define the atmosphere of an entire kitchen. That is why we consider it from the beginning, alongside the furniture and worktop.

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE AT THE END?

From an idea
to a clear design.

The material we deliver is tailored to the scale of the project and the next step. At the outset, we define the design brief, the scope of variations and consultations, and the documents to be delivered.

Concept and layout

A design direction tailored to your needs, with careful consideration of the main functions and furniture placement.

Visualisations

A visual representation of the proposed space or furniture, helping you assess colours, proportions and the relationship between surfaces.

Detailed design package

Dimensioned views, material and colour proposals, and the details required to prepare the project for implementation, all agreed to suit the brief.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Good design grows
from conversation.

01

We understand the brief.

We discuss your ideas, the characteristics of the space, the elements to be retained and the planned budget. We also agree on the required dimensions and the method of surveying.

02

We define the direction.

We develop the concept for the layout and visual direction. From the agreed options, we select the one that suits you best.

03

We develop the details.

We refine the materials, colours, furniture and bespoke surfaces. Visualisations support the decisions we make together.

04

We prepare the next step.

We deliver the agreed design package. If you continue with us through implementation, we separately coordinate the details of production, installation and timing.

DESIGN BACKGROUND

Sturcz Gábor

Co-founder and designer of BEX Home.

My experience in the joinery workshop shaped my belief that a design must work both in execution and in everyday use. Kitchen design led me to printed glass — a surface capable of connecting the different elements of a space.

The design work of BEX Home and the personal creative world of sturcz.art grow from the same curiosity: how can a place be shaped into a space with a character of its own?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

Can I request design only?

Yes. Design is also available as a standalone service. During the first consultation, we clarify exactly what design material you need.

How much does design cost?

The fee is based on the brief and the agreed design package. To begin, we ask for photos, approximate dimensions and a short description.

Do you also handle implementation?

We can also discuss the production of furniture and glass surfaces. The exact scope, production and installation are covered by a separate quotation.
